Privacy: the waitlist

Who we are

Poise is a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK 42182415. Poise is responsible for your data. You can reach us at poisedating@gmail.com.

What we collect, and why

Only your email address, to send you one email when Poise launches on 1 January 2027. We ask for your consent with the tick box, and you confirm it through a link we email you. We keep a record of when you gave and confirmed it. Joining is optional, and you don’t need to join to use Poise later.

What we don’t do

No newsletters and no other marketing. We never sell your address, share it with advertisers, or use it to build a profile of you.

Who handles it

Netlify hosts this site and receives the form. Loops sends the confirmation email and the launch email. Both handle your address only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement. Both are US companies, so your address may be processed outside the EU, protected by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

If you don’t confirm within 7 days, we delete your address. If you do, we keep it until 30 days after the launch email, then delete it. If you create a Poise account, the app’s own privacy statement covers that account.

Visits to this page

We count visits with Netlify Analytics, which works from server logs. It sets no cookies and doesn’t follow you to other sites.

Your rights

You can withdraw your consent at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us. You can also ask to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your data, or to limit how we use it. We reply within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled it, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Age

Poise is for adults. Please don’t join if you’re under 18.
